The Boy Named Crow
an excerpt from Kafka On The Shore
by Haruki Murakami

In "The Boy Named Crow" a prologue of sorts "Kafka" was never been close to his dad and it is enough reason for him to come up for a decision running away from home. His up to finally run away when he saw The Boy Named Crow at the office of his dad. He taught Crow will make his escape plan easier but he expected wrong. Crow asked him a lot of question about Kafka's plan after finally running away and Kafka felt silent. Crow made Kafka see that he is only 15 years old and it seems impossible for him to live without the support from his dad. But Kafka is really eager for independence, so he disregard the what if's that Crow made him see.

Most of people nowadays might have the thought of one thing to run way it could be because of their responsibilities, pressure from parents or school, having depression or stress from life.
I have personally enjoyed this story and appreciates its value on how well-written it is and despite being extracted from a long novel the text contains a bigger message than originally thought it may. Life may be full of struggles, problems, worries and responsibilities and you might think that it is too hard for you to deal with but no matter how hard it is, running away was never a permanent solution to your problem and that for you to grow up need to face the challenges that comes to you and that is what makes life all about.
The author used a very effective writing style and imagery in order for the readers to understand in better and give meaning about the story. The writing style of the author is very effective that may be some readers may share the history to other people.
