Dead Star symbolize a dream for something that is non existent. The guy fell inlove with a girl... The love of the guy for the girl is like a dead star, whose glow is still visible from the earth for years after they are gone.

I like this passage because it sounds so sad, yet it is full of meaning. Besides the fact that the title of the short story appears in this passage, which I think is really lovely (DEAD STAR). I think I can relate to this somehow, I think this passage talks about someone seeing something that is long gone, but knowing that is was there gone, but was there before. It's when you end up expecting something from someone for along time. When you finally get to talk to the person about it, it turns out that what you have been expecting before is gone, and yet you can still see that they were there before.


It is the one of the finest written love stories. I agree. It didn't only focused on the theme of love, but also, it showed how one conquer his self by understanding. Understanding that sometimes things can be illusions yet very influential it shows that in life, man really have to choose between two good decisions, thus painting his destiny in his own hands.
